[Pew has polling out](https://www.pewresearch.org/science/2022/07/14/americans-divided-over-direction-of-bidens-climate-change-policies/ps%5F2022-07-14%5Fclimate-change-policies%5F00-015/?ref=birchtree.me) showing a pretty remarkable difference in how young and old Republicans see climate policy in the U.S. Stealing just one chart as an example:

I can't find anything breaking down "leans Democratic" age groups, and I'm hesitant to extrapolate too much from young people having more progressive beliefs than older people, but a part of me has to wonder if this is in part showing the difference between younger people who have grown up in a world where the evidence is very clear and older people who have been fed…if you'll allow me…fake news for decades.

Also, do older conservatives get paid by how many times they make the joke, "it's cold today, checkmate global warming"? I'll start doing it too if it pays well!
