[Adam Oram - On Apple Watch](http://www.notedtech.net/blog/2015/3/11/on-apple-watch?ref=birchtree.me)

> Apple has since honed this down to three main selling points: Timekeeping, New Ways to Connect and Health & Fitness. But during a demo portion of the keynote on Monday, Kevin Lynch showed off even more functionality, including a number of third-party apps. I still feel like the Watch does too much, but I no longer feel this has to be a negative thing.

Some may say that the fact that Apple Watch can do so much means that the product is unfocused. I’m with Adam on this one; the more the Apple Watch can do the better. We’ll all go through that phase where we load a ton of apps onto our watches, but that will pass and we’ll all come to our senses. I think Apple Watch will do a few things really well for each person, but each person will have different needs.

iMessage, RunKeeper, Pocket Casts, and OmniFocus are what I most look forward to on my Watch. But who knows what else will prove useful? Maybe I won’t end up using some of those at all. We’re entering a brave new world, and I’m excited to be along for the ride.
