> We make the world’s best touch computer on an iPad. It’s totally optimized for that. And the Mac is totally optimized for indirect input. We haven’t really felt a reason to change that.

Like okay, but I can use my iPad wonderfully with a keyboard and mouse as well as touch. If the iPad can be "totally optimized" for touch, but also include world-class support for indirect input, then you would think it stands to reason macOS could pull the same trick in reverse.

Maybe I'll never win this war, but I still believe we'll get touch in a Mac sooner rather than later.
