# Apple's Unofficial Jupiter Wallpaper 2022

As I've done [before](https://birchtree.me/blog/apple-removed-their-jupiter-wallpaper-in-the-ios-11-gm-even-though-i-made-them-such-a-nice-one/) in 2017 ([twice, even!!](https://birchtree.me/blog/a-more-current-wallpaper-of-jupiter-for-ios/)), I wanted to take the chance to create a new Jupiter wallpaper based on [the latest pics from the James Webb Space Telescope](https://blogs.nasa.gov/webb/2022/08/22/webbs-jupiter-images-showcase-auroras-hazes/?ref=birchtree.me). I did very little to these outside of adding some subtle directional lighting to make it feel a little more three dimensional, but that's really it, all credit goes to NASA for these amazing images.
