David Fincher has what looks like another great movie coming out today, so [this is a timely look at Fincher's style](http://vimeo.com/107779620?ref=birchtree.me). This is the latest in [Tony Zhou's](https://twitter.com/tonyszhou?ref=birchtree.me) series, Every Frame a Painting.

I think I've taken David Fincher for granted. Seven, Fight Club, Zodiac, The Social Network, and House of Cards\[^1\] are masterpieces that I still think about and quote to this day. The little things he does with the camera and a little bit of staging is really fantastic.
