## What’s New?

SO MUCH!

The entire structure of my iPhone home screens has been changed since we last talked. First off, I moved all apps to the first screen (with about 30 in folders) and a few apps that are getting tested on page 2\. This new arrangement is working great for me so far. And yes, this arrangement is inspired by [CGP Grey’s setup he showed off on Cortex’s first episode](http://www.relay.fm/cortex/1?ref=birchtree.me).

[Flipboard](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/flipboard-your-social-news/id358801284?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) has replaced [Alien Blue](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/alien-blue-reddit-official/id923187241?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) as my general entertainment app. I. just done with Reddit. There seems like there’s some [new drama](http://gawker.com/reddit-in-chaos-after-allegedly-firing-ama-coordinator-1715556970?ref=birchtree.me) happening there every week these days, and I had just started to have a more negative experience everytime I visited the site. I cut it loose for some curated topics on Flipboard, and I’m much happier.

[Pushpin](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pushpin-for-pinboard/id548052590?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) has replaced [Pocket](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pocket-save-articles-videos/id309601447?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) as my read later service.

Squarespace is back in my life, and their [Blog](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/squarespace-blog/id715084234?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) and [Metrics](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/squarespace-metrics/id730533177?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) apps have gained home screen status.

[Slack](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/slack-team-communication/id618783545?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) is my new love. We use it at my new job, and it’s really an amazing way to communicate with your co-workers.

[Pocket Casts](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/pocket-casts/id414834813?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) has replaced [Overcast](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/overcast-podcast-player/id888422857?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me). I change this back and forth every few months, so nothing to see here…

Big change for the Apple Watch this month, as I’ve switched to the data-rich Modular face.
