# Low Power Mode Preview

The above graph is of my battery life on my iPhone 6 Plus over the 17 hours I was awake yesterday. I am testing how iOS 9’s Low Power Mode impacts battery life, and what sacrifices need to be made to get those benefits.

While I am going to write a more detailed overview later this week, I wanted to share right away that I think Low Power Mode is a brilliant addition to iOS and you should turn it on right now if you find your battery life to be lacking at all. You don’t sacrifice much and you get so much out of it.

To manually turn on Low Power Mode, go into Settings>>Battery and select “Low Power Mode”.
