# Modest Mouse Announce Their First New Album in 8 Years

Modest Mouse announced their first new album since 2007's *We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank*. It's called *Strangers to Ourselves* and it comes out on March 3, 2015\. I actually thought these guys had broken up, but I guess they're still at it and simply hadn't told anyone. I'm excited about this record and hope they've still got it after all these years.
