Today the app is still in beta with no clear sign on when it will be done. I feel bad for this project because it’s clearly not gone to plan and I’m sure it’s a struggle for the people working on it.

I actually had a press briefing on the v4 update soon after this announcement and it was one of the most surreal meetings I’ve ever had (in a good way). I’ve used the beta on and off since then and it’s really just never clicked with me. They’re playing a different game than basically everyone else in the productivity space, and while it hasn’t clicked for me, I hope it can find an audience once it’s released.
