Reviews are out for the Pebble Time, and Pebble diehards at [/r/pebble](http://reddit.com/r/pebble?ref=birchtree.me) are going nuts over some of them. [This thread in particular](http://www.reddit.com/r/pebble/comments/37ha30/the%5Fverge%5Freviews%5Fpebble%5Ftime/?ref=birchtree.me) has drawn quite a bit of ire. I find it fascinating how much weight people put on review scores. [Some suggested](http://www.reddit.com/r/pebble/comments/37ha30/the%5Fverge%5Freviews%5Fpebble%5Ftime/crmo299?ref=birchtree.me) that The Verge was too afraid to give the Pebble Time a better score than "that other thing...." (the Apple Watch). They also spent some time mocking [David Pierce's review for Wired](http://www.wired.com/2015/05/review-pebble-time/?ref=birchtree.me) having the gall to say he does't like it as much as the Apple Watch. The gal! I've started replying to half-a-dozen of these replies, but ended up deleting them. Why poke the bear?

This whole thing makes me doubly glad that I don't have a numbering system tied to my reviews. You can disagree with me (and many have), but you have to read what I have to say in order to know my position.
