# Purple Blogs are on the Rise!

This is a totally self-serving post, but I've started to notice a few more purple tech blogs out there.

At some point, [Above Avalon](http://www.aboveavalon.com/?ref=birchtree.me) went purple[1](#fn-1287-1) and I think it looks great. I also came across a link to [Allen Pike's](http://www.allenpike.com/me/?ref=birchtree.me) site which also has a sharp purple hue.
