I like this idea from [Manton Reece](http://www.manton.org/2016/11/fixing-amp.html?ref=birchtree.me):

> I’d prefer if Google added AMP support directly to Chrome. While it would be a much more limited rollout, it would feel more natural, with fewer drawbacks for publishers. 

I never really thought of it from this angle, but it makes a lot of sense.
