TomTom stock continued to skyrocket for 6 months after the iPhone came out. [At the end of 2007](https://www.google.com/finance/historical?cid=698819&startdate=Dec+30%2C+2007&enddate=Dec+31%2C+2008&num=30&ei=Fc5sVunQO8O-e8qrtPgE&ref=birchtree.me) their stock was worth $51.50 per share. 12 months later it was worth $5.20\. The iPhone destroyed its entire market. I've got money on the Apple Watch doing the same to dedicated fitness trackers too.
