# My iPhone's Today View

Very few Today view widgets have made the cut since the launch of iOS 8, but I’ve been thinking about them a bit more lately. These are the apps that made the cut. [OmniFocus](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/omnifocus-2-for-iphone/id690305341?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) \- I had cleared my list by the time I took this shot, but this is my favorite way to quickly check in on my current tasks.

[Forecast+](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/forecast+-weather-forecast/id916416931?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) \- The only good weather widget, as far as I’m concerned. As much as I love the Dark Sky app, it’s widget doesn’t do anything for me. This shows me all the info I need with little excess.

[Deliveries](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/deliveries-a-package-tracker/id290986013?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) \- Super accurate and always nice to see when that new shiny package is going to show up.

[Do Button by IFTTT](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/do-button-by-ifttt/id905998610?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) \- I have three little workflows set up that are uniquely useful to me. I find them way more accessible from the Today screen than the app (which I now have buried deep in a folder).

[Day One](https://itunes.apple.com/us/app/day-one-journal-notes-diary/id421706526?mt=8&at=10l8rH&ref=birchtree.me) \- As you can see, I have been severely slacking in my journaling over the past month, but that’s okay. I love this widget for showing me old pictures and how well I’ve been keeping up with my entries. Must…do…better…
