Goodies: January 13
Panda Bear released Panda Bear Meets the Grim Reaper this week. It's a trippy good time.
Catfish and the Bottlemen finally released their debut album, The Balcony last week in the United States. I've been listening to the UK version of this record for a few months and I think it's awesome. This is the complete opposite of Panda Bear.
You can now stream 3 great albums all coming out next week. The Decemberists album is my favorite of 2015 so far.
- Belle & Sebastian - Girls in Peacetime Want to Dance
- Sleater-Kinney - No Cities To Love
- The Decemberists - What a Terrible World, What a Beautiful World (in iTunes Radio)
If you want to watch something this week, John Wick, a ridiculous action flick is on iTunes, and David Fincher's excellent adaptation of Gone Girl also came out.
Mythbusters came back this weekend with a Simpsons special. This is the first season without the build crew and is really the first time they're changed the show's format in almost a decade. I liked it a lot, and hope they keep up the great work.
This mashup of 6 #1 country singles shows how formulaic pop country music is. This might be my favorite thing right now. Whoa.
Do you think you could beat The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, a game that usually takes upwards of 20 hours to beat with your eyes closed? Runnerguy2489 did, and it's a thing of beauty.
