Whoa, here it is! I'm a nerd, so I have a few thoughts on this trailer. I've watched it about a dozen times already, and I'm not getting bored.

1. The opening shot breaks the canon established by Lucas in the prequels that all stormtroopers are clones of Jengo Fett. I may have this detail wrong, so please correct me if I am.
2. Everything's dirty. JJ is not just making Star Trek again. This world looks lived in and totally in line with the original Star Wars trilogy. No lens flares either.
3. Dat lightsaber. I'm actually a little put off by this. Why is the lightsaber look like a stick of fire? Why is the hilt made of energy as well? What purpose does that serve? I get we always want to give the bad guy a lightsaber that's different in some way, but I don't know about this one.
