My 2¢ on the RESTRICT Act

Joeseph Cox: The 'Insanely Broad' RESTRICT Act Could Ban Much More Than Just TikTok

The RESTRICT Act, a proposed piece of legislation which provides one way the government might ban TikTok, contains “insanely broad” language and could lead to other apps or communications services with connections to foreign countries being banned in the U.S.

I don’t have much more to say here other than wanting to get it in writing that this act is too broad, and has serious echos of the Patriot Act from 2 decades ago. Proponents of the bill say that they can assure us it won’t be used too broadly, to which I would simply reply, “then put that explicitly in the bill.”

Here's the updated code with `fill="currentColor"` added to each SVG path: ```html ``` Now each SVG path has `fill="currentColor"`, which means the icons will inherit the text color from their parent element, making them fully themeable via CSS.
