Apple’s Biggest Camera Update Yet?

iPhone 13 Pro Review: Another Step Forward – Greg Morris

I am not sure that it is, as Apple say, the biggest camera update yet, but it is a big one. With all this said most people won’t be able to tell the difference in the images from any iPhone in the last 3 years but if you’re into the details it becomes obvious.

I enjoyed Greg’s review, and this statement stood out to me. Apple advertises the iPhone 13 Pro camera system as the “biggest upgrade ever,” and I think there is an argument to be made that it truly is. Usually one of the lenses takes the back seat, but all three lenses got pretty good updates this year, which is great. But like Greg says, most people from the 11 Pro and 12 Pro generations are already pretty happy with their cameras, so the practical differences are probably less obvious this year.

In my opinion, the XS to 11 Pro update was the best update the cameras have received in recent memory. The XS had a weird photo profile and the 11 Pro fixed all those issues while adding my long-awaited ultrawide lens to the mix as well.
