Monument Valley was updated today with 8 new levels. The base game was only 10 levels, and was one of my favorite games of the year. It's a beautiful game, and the new stages continue the original's beauty and cleverness.

One thing I really like about this expansion is that the first level does a great job of reminding someone like me, who played the game back in April, all of the different things you can manipulate in the game world. By new level 2, I felt back up to speed on my gameplay options.

Monument Valley is $3.99 on the App Store, and today's new levels are a slight $1.99 in-app purchase.
