Photos, Photos Everywhere
Google is releasing “Photos” for Android
We’ve been hearing for a very long time - virtually ever since Vic Gundotra left Google+, with more rumors springing up recently - that Photos would be splitting off from Google’s social/sign-in platform. We’ve heard vague rumblings, and even seen some baby steps toward this split,

Love Loving Things
Tomorrowland review | The Verge
Hating on things is fun. Particularly online, where we tend to grade things not by the ways in which they succeed, but by the degrees in which they fail to meet our expectations.
…
What can be hard is looking past that cynicism and admit to actually liking things.

One Month Later, Instacast is Only the Second Podcast app on Apple Watch
Instacast got updated today with an Apple Watch app. It looks like a decent implementation, and I'm going to give it a try. As of right now, they are only the second podcast app on the Watch. Not even Apple has their own app there!

Take Your Time to Form an Opinion
Andy Ihnatko on reviewing tech products:
My immediate plans for the Apple Watch include a quick first-look for the Sun-Times and then (yeeks) at least three weeks of daily wear before I even consider writing up my formal take on it. It’s important to get a lot of serious “deep soak” experience

Running with Apple Watch
I have been using the Apple Watch to track my workouts for the past 3 weeks, and I’ve run it through its paces as a workout companion. I’ve logged 13 workouts (10 runs, 3 walks) both indoors and outdoors. This is easily the most active I have been all year, and it’s

Where the Pebble Stands
Apple Watch: The Future Is Now (or, at least, soon) - Stephen Orth
The Pebble is a decent enough device. It’s not cool looking, and it has some issues, but it’s generally very functional.

We're in the Early Days of Smart Watch Apps
Think back to 2007. This is what Mac OS X looked like when the iPhone was released:

The Best Cheap Phone You Can Buy

iPhone 6s Rumors Start to Leak Out
Apple Insider has some supposed iPhone 6s leaks. This claim caught my eye:

Does anyone really think that "some" plus models
