Pixel 3 and 3 XL get final update with February security patch

Google today rolled out the final update for the Pixel 3 and 3 XL.

For reference, the Pixel 3 came out a month after the iPhone XS. Imagine if iOS 16 was announced at WWDC and Apple said it would support the iPhone 11, 12, and 13, and that’s it.

And just to head off the “Android and iOS software updates are different” defense, I totally get that, but this was the final security update, so no more new features, no more security updates. Oof.
