Another delightful site switches to Ghost
Mike Haynes has moved his crashthearcade blog to Ghost: Ghosting WordPress
The Ghost editor is really an example for WordPress' Gutenberg editor to follow. It functions largely in the same way but doesn't have any of the jank that makes Gutenberg so frustrating to use.
It’s actually amazing that the Gutenberg editor was added to WordPress in 2018 and 6 years later it’s still like pulling teeth to get people to use it. I’ve worked with numerous sites that use WordPress and literally zero of them use it. That’s anecdotal, of course, but it still creates so much ire in lots of WordPress users. Meanwhile, I’m over here writing this post in the Ghost editor with no issues (well, except on mobile where the Ghost editor is still remarkably bad).
