Movies were more of a hassle. You’d have to wait about a day or two for the download to be finished, and you didn’t even know if it was the correct file or not. The only thing you had to go by were the titles of the tracks, and people could bait you into downloading some fucked-up shit.

Oh man, this article was a nostalgia trip. Limewire really was the Wild West 20 years ago and as a kid, the drama of looking at 100 search results and guessing which ones were real and which were fakes/viruses was quite the tricky game.
