Engagement, not pay or perks, is the leading indicator — and chief reason — for the record turnover many companies are experiencing today.
I think the pandemic has made almost everyone think in a different way about what they’re doing with their lives. Whether you lost your job or not, this seems to back up the idea that people are looking for more than just a paycheck in ways they weren’t before. Employers from companies large and small are needing to work harder to retain their employees, which I love to see.
