Mitch Cohen: “Sign in with” anything - and save it in 1Password

Today we’re starting with a familiar kind of sign-in service (also known as social logins or SSO). When you visit a site and click a button like “Sign in with Google”, 1Password will remember your choice and offer to save it for you. And when you return to the site, 1Password will seamlessly authenticate you with your Google account.

This is such a pain, and forgetting which option I chose is one of the big reasons I try to never use these options, so seeing 1Password address this problem in a clever way is exceptional.

This will be available in the next 1Password beta for Mac, which isn't out yet, but will be out shortly and I'll definitely start using this immediately.
