I Feel Hollow Without Creativity

Newsletters vs Blogging - Tablet Habit

I feel that I no longer want to make money with my writing and instead want this to be a creative outlet for me. I don’t want this to be a job, I want this to be a hobby. I am a creative person and I need a creative outlet. When I am not able to have a creative outlet I feel empty and hollow.

This, so many times this!

I’ve never tried hard to monetize this site. I have an ad, and I’d love it if you clicked it, but there’s one ad, and it’s tucked away, never getting between you and the content you can to read. I could optimize what I write about towards S.E.O. best practices and run more ads and seek out sponsored content, but that’s not why I’m doing this.

Jeff has been doing some really good writing, and I’m happy to see he’s moving back to the blog format. I’m also glad to see him clearly showing the right motivations: engagement over money.

And nicely, if you enjoy what you do, which begets more engagement, which begets revenue opportunities.
