Insane Double Standards in the Republican Party

Did you know George W. Bush ran a private email server from 2003 through 2009? Did you know that his administration and the Republican National Committee have lost track of 22 million emails?

Clinton’s email habits look positively transparent when compared with the subpoena-dodging, email-hiding, private-server-using George W. Bush administration. Between 2003 and 2009, the Bush White House “lost” 22 million emails. This correspondence included millions of emails written during the darkest period in America’s recent history, when the Bush administration was ginning up support for what turned out to be a disastrous war in Iraq with false claims that the country possessed weapons of mass destruction (WMD), and, later, when it was firing U.S. attorneys for political reasons.

I'm not saying that two wrongs make a right, but consider the ire spilled in mountains of digital ink about Clinton's emails. Then consider if you even knew about these 22 million missing emails from the President of the United States during the most controversial war of our lifetimes.

And to be clear, a Republican-lead investigation has already happened for Clinton and she was found innocent of any criminal wrongdoing. And yet the "LOCK HER UP!" chants continue. Where exactly are the "LOCK HIM UP" chants from those Trump crowds for this?

This is what we are talking about when we say that Hillary Clinton is held to a different standard than just about anyone else. And yet, she's still here, still fighting, and still succeeding. It still baffles me how this year's election is even a question for half of Americans.
