I've been writing here since 2010! Back when personal blogs were all the rage. Kids, ask your parents.

Hey there, I'm Matt!

I'm a UI/UX designer at NMI and I make videos over on A Better Computer, which I think you'll love.

It’s No Longer in My Dock

Tim Nahumck, writing in his epic Drafts 22 review for MacStories:

Over the course of the summer betas, it’s completely changed my use of the app and done something I didn’t think would ever happen: Drafts is no longer in my dock. This isn’t because the app has lost its usefulness, rather it’s actually increased in versatility so much through the widget that I no longer need it elsewhere.

This is how I’ve changed with Things as well. It’s my most used app on my iPhone, but it’s icon lives in the app library now. The 2x2 widget shows me how many tasks I have left for the day, as well as the next 4 on my schedule. The only bad part: I no longer get to see that damn good looking icon all the time.
