My internet buddy Richard Anderson has been working on a web project called Just Do the Thing. It's a simple web app that employs a system I love for tracking how well I'm doing towards to a goal. I used this method to track my running last year and it worked great! A digital version of this is, of course appealing to me. I've been using this for about a week and I think it's a solid foundation to become something awesome as Richard builds this out.
The project is quite limited right now, as you have to run it from your desktop and it's not very beautiful yet. But still in its early form, it might just be the simple goal-tracking tool you need this time of year.
