Does the Vision Pro look like it's going to replace the Mac or the iPad? How about our phones? Maybe…possibly…in many years, but it's more likely to be yet another computer in our lives. It *can* happen, it's just rare.
How does one afford a Vision Pro? Sacrifices had to be made.
The Vision Pro isn't a developer kit, but it's definitely got some UI oddities that will get sorted out before it's really ready for the mainstream.
I have real concerns about features like Arc Search blowing up the revenue model that has powered the open web for decades. Maybe there's hope in looking back 25 years at another software innovation that blew everything up, but spurred more new revenue models.
